Fishing Report May 18th 2024

Trout Fishing on the Muskegon has remained steady. Browns and rainbows have been keying in on multiple food sources as of late. Salmon fry, caddis nymphs and pheasant tails have been getting most of the attention below the surface. Fish seem to be looking up more and more with caddis emergers adult adult caddis being the main attraction for dry fly fishing. Some sulfurs and grey drakes have been spotted, but not in any great numbers. Any day now we should start to see more bugs making a presence.
